This beautiful July wedding in Ovington needed a classic cake to serve 250. A delicate daisy chain decorated the side of this 3-tier cake and perched on the edge of each tier was the sweetest little addition, little sugar Bantams. This special touch was a complete surprise for the bride. The groom, of course, had his own feature with dark green ribbon between the tiers and around the bottom cake board to tie in with his regiment (The Rifles).
After the wedding, we were sent the loveliest testimonial:
“Your cake was not only the most wonderful one any of us could ever imagine, it was also the most delicious that I have ever tasted. I was so sorry not to have seen you when you delivered it as we all fell about when we saw the bantams! They are adorable and hopefully will keep for ever. They have both gone on a precious week’s honeymoon but I can tell you that they were both over the moon about the cake and managed to cut it perfectly with his sword!
